morning! I had coffee with my friend marni this morning at my coffee shop across the road and she took this pic of me on my bike as we were saying goodbye. i got my navy blues on but feeling reasonably chipper, if not a bit tired from daylight savings - still waking up in the fives.
it's still kinda rainy but i'm having lunch with angie today so had to chance it, as it takes too long to walk between my work in ultimo and hers in darlington - we only get a precious hour although often stand on the street talking for an extra fifteen saying goodbye so time is of the essence.
i bought this skirt for $30 at rozelle markets about five years ago and i still really like it, all frilly and girly - makes me feel pretty, and also long enough to ride in without showing everyone what I had for breakfast. shirt is from country road and the fabric is really soft and tactile. brooch is my favourite: little birds sitting on a wire that was a gift from angie for my last birthday - see you at one, peaches.
i walked into work today, and in the city i passed a lady who did not share your philosophy about skirts and bikes. i sorely wish she did.
