wed june twenty second

Working from home today to get some writing done... and here's me haaaaaaanging around. Ha! Hanging around! Hilarious.

I've had two coffees today, this is me geting the second around lunchtime. I'm wearing the black pants with the interpretive-dance rip in the seat, a brown jumper i bought second hand, amsterdamage brown boots. Beanie I nicked off my mum, scarf knitted by my nana, gloves i bought for $4 with mikey somewhere on smith st a few weeks ago. it's freezing at home - almost worth going into work for the heating, actually - but in this get up I'd kept pretty warm and cosy by the heater and had a productive morning.

then this happened: channel noine. hoppy the cameraman took this; he is a swell guy. interview was only from the waist up so didn't bother changing the bottom half and voila! there you have it. im wearing a red long sleeve tee that i can't remember where i bought it from, jacket is part of a suit which i bought from ... actually i can't remember that either. it's blue and kinda shiny and makes me feel like a used car saleslady (media spokesperson = same difference).

so story on mobile phone coverage tonight in sydney and melbourne, coming to you (not) live, from my backyard. if the melbourne folk listen carefully they may just hear a shout out.

now im going to get back to work while i still have the precious java running through my veins, spurring me gently to heights of mediocrity.

  1. well im pretty sure this is lining up to be the highlight of my day - how exciting! i just woke up in time; watching question time knocked me out for 3 hours apparently. i shall tune in now! xx

  2. hahaha - flashbacks to the good old 70s when the only additional attire needed with an anchorman's suit jacket was matching undies and socks. I think Sarah's pencil face boredom trumps you in the fashion stakes though
