Wednesday 7 December

Another spectacular day here in Melbs - all week it has been, in the words of someone known to feature on these pages, 'pissing down sunshine'.

Some of my workmates did a 10km fun run this afternoon. One of them had the brilliant idea of making a cape that would be a little promo for a campaign we've got going, and here is the result - a lime green cape! How fantastic do they look?

Skye, well known to DTTE readers, was of course the person who really made it happen - she sewed the ribbon and cut it into a cape and she did a brilliant job. My role was buying the material and doing some gluing. Skye had to walk me through both tasks, because I have no skills in this area (believe me this is a complimentary assessment, not a harsh one).

As you can see, the focal point of this pic is Lach! Looking hawwwwt in lime eh?? He was knackered by the end, and rightfully so. Job well done Snags.

I was there as official cheer team/photographer for the team. I had a partner in crime, Dan, and we sat under a tree in the sunshine by the lake and sank beers, which was a pretty freaking good way to spend the afternoon. Gotta play to your strengths, after all.

Wore my spotty black and white dress, with new red shoes not shown in this pic. Next time!
